The Montgomery Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) announces that a public meeting will be held to engage the public for input into the development of a Regional Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Action Plan that covers portions of Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga Counties and Cities and Towns within each county. The Regional Electric Vehicle Charing Infrastructure Action Plan is being developed to plan for where needed electric vehicle charging stations will be needed for Montgomery area motorists and tourists that visit or pass through the area that need to charge their electric vehicles.
The Montgomery MPO needs the publics input into the development of the Regional Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Action Plan in order to guide the development of the Plan and help identify where needed electric vehicle charging stations are needed throughout the Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga County Area. Help Plan where electric vehicle charging stations are needed throughout the Montgomery Area with your input!
The public engagement meeting will be an open house style format meeting where citizens can walk-in at their leisure to talk to MPO Transportation Planning Staff and Consulting Firm Staff about where electric vehicle charging stations are needed in the area.
