Project Introduction
The Montgomery Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is developing a Regional Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Action Plan to help identify locations where electric vehicle charging stations are needed. EV charging stations are envisioned to be located in portions of Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga Counties and cities and towns within each county.
The Regional Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Action Plan has been developed to plan for where needed electric vehicle charging stations will be needed for Montgomery area motorists and tourists that visit or pass through the area that need to charge their electric vehicles.
